My Journey

As a lifelong country music fan, I grew up going to Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kansas. From my first time going when I was 5 years old there had always been a part of me that wanted to work in the Country Music industry. Continuing on throughout middle school and high school I listened to Casey Donahew, Koe Wetzel, Stoney LaRue, and many more within the Texas Country and Red Dirt scene. Then during my junior year, lost as to what my future would hold, my mother spurred me to buy a camera and that's when I found a love for photography.

In 2020 as a junior at Kansas State University, working my part-time job one night, an emerging artist and his band walked in for a cup of coffee before their show at the local venue. After serving the band and chatting it up we exchanged contacts and they would let me know when they were close again and needed photos of their show. That emerging artist was Corey Kent and to my surprise, they did reach out when they returned to Manhattan. A month after meeting the band I was on stage shooting their opening set before Parker McCullom. Through this experience, I was able to build up a portfolio, work my way into a venue, network with other artists, and eventually got a touring position. At the beginning of 2021, I was graced with the opportunity to do tour media for The Wilder Blue.
